What our current home route book shows
This is first-party data from our own active route book. It is a clear snapshot, not a claim about every snow company in St. Louis.
As of September 1, 2026, 18 of the 39 active home route records did not have an explicit numeric rate in SnowIS, so they are not part of the price math. The sample average is $139.57. These are stored service rates from our route book, not guaranteed quotes. A new address still needs a route and property review.

What changes your snow price
The size of the lot or drive matters, but it is not the only thing that changes the work.
Property size and shape
Open pavement is faster than tight corners, islands, steep drives, loading areas, and places that need hand work.
Service trigger
A lower trigger can create more visits. Zero-tolerance service may also include ice-only and refreeze checks.
Walks and salt
Walk crews, treatment area, product type, and repeat salt work must be named in the price.
Route fit and timing
A nearby route stop is easier to serve than an isolated property. Early opening times can also need more equipment or priority.

Starting labor rules are not bundled property prices. Equipment, materials, fuel, mobilization, disposal, after-hours work, and taxes are added when they apply. Your signed scope controls the final price.

How to compare two snow bids
Do not compare only the top number. Check the trigger, work areas, opening time, salt terms, walks, ice-only service, long-storm visits, snow placement, and proof of service.
A low bid can cost more later when key work is missing. Ask each company to show what counts as a visit, what starts a charge, and what record you get after the work.

Snow pricing questions
How much does snow removal cost in St. Louis?
The cost depends on the property, trigger, route, walks, salt, access, and timing. Our active home route book has stored service rates from $69 to $299, with a $119 median among the 21 active homes that currently have an explicit rate in SnowIS. Those numbers describe our route book, not every company in St. Louis, and they are not a quote for a new address.
Can I get an exact commercial snow price online?

Is salt included with plowing?
Only when the written proposal says it is. The plan should name the treatment area, product, application, ice-only work, and refreeze coverage.
Does per-occurrence home service mean I call for each storm?
No. It is a billing method for an ongoing route. Once enrolled, service starts when the written trigger is met. We do not offer one-time storm-day home service.
Does asking for a quote commit me to service?
No. The form starts a property and route review. Service starts only after you accept the written scope, price, and agreement.
